Dr. Valarie Brown-Klingelhoefer
Dr. Valarie Brown-Klingelhoefer doesn’t have an OFF switch. Since joining the Marina Kiwanis Club in October 2011, Dr. Valarie Brown-Klingelhoefer has been fearlessly finding new ways to promote the mission of Kiwanis. She has a habit of dreaming the impossible and making those dreams come true, refusing to take “no” for an answer. Originally from Riverside, California, Valarie is a former administrative Director and Dean for several colleges and universities, earning her Ph.D. in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. Now fully retired from her professional life (since 2016), Dr. Valarie still finds the time to help manage a nonprofit organization that helps homeless women in Monterey County.
